This information is for swimmers (and their parents) who may be interested in joining TASC after their time in Tain Turtles or indeed any other swimming programme.
Who is in the club?
The Club is for those swimmers who wish to swim in competitions, although it may be some time before new entrants enter swimming Meets (competitions)
What will I be Doing?
· You will receive stroke analysis and be taught the skills required to improve your strokes
· You will learn training techniques
· You will meet other swimmers with similar interests
· You will learn the competition rules
· All four swimming strokes will be given equal importance
· You will be taught competitive dives, turns and finishes
· You will be offered the chance to swim competitively at an appropriate level
How can I join?
You have to be at least 8 years old.
You have to be able to swim 2 lengths of 2 different strokes.
Simply get your parents to contact one of the coaches on poolside duty (Weekdays 3.50 - 5.50pm) or contact Magi Vass 01862 893731

A trial will then be arranged and any questions answered.
After a successful trial you will attend some of the sessions to see if you wished to join.
You will then pay your fees and become a member.
Sometimes there is a waiting list but you still should go through the trial procedure and when a place becomes available, you will be informed.
When are the sessions?
The club runs during the school term every school day from 3.50-5.50pm.
